FAQ

Q. Where are you located?

A: RESCO Air is located in sunny Las Cruces, NM. We can easily travel to your location to do your training.

Q: How much does it cost for a type rating?

A: It really depends on your flight experience and if you already have a type rating. If this is your first type rating, expect more time in the classroom to get up to speed on aircraft systems. An examiner will do a thorough evaluation of systems knowledge on an initial type rating. So, bottom line, it varies from pilot to pilot.

Q: What is the typical cost for the average person to get their type in a CE-500?

A: If this is your initial type rating with no jet experience, expect about $9500 plus check ride.

Q: What is your class schedule?

A: We don't have a specific class schedule. All training is based on your needs. We work our schedule around yours.

Q. How does your pricing work if there is more than one pilot wishing to be trained at the same time for a type rating?

A. The pricing for the first pilot is $500 per day. Each additional pilot is $250 per day.

Q. Do you offer SIC training/certification?

A. We do SIC training per FAR 61.55 which includes: Three takeoffs and three landings to a full stop as the sole manipulator of the flight controls; Engine-out procedures and maneuvering with an engine out while executing the duties of pilot in command; and Crew resource management training.
